Energy Drinks For A Focused Run In The World Series of Poker
Poker is a sport that requires endurance, stamina and concentration, which more often than not, makes it quite backbreaking for players to survive numerous long grinding sessions without tilting. Thus, with an aim to remain focused, many players prefer to gulp down cans of energy drinks as a positive and a legal way to stay alert and active during their game.
With long grinding hours on the agenda, players seem to believe that there is nothing wrong with a little ‘boost-me-up’ when they feel that their concentration level as well as their stamina is starting to decline. It is undeniable that the World Series of Poker demands a lot from poker players. Most if not all who aim for the final tables have to grind for 12 long hours, and this tedious routine repeats itself every day until a champion gets crowned. With energy drinks, they can replenish lost energy and stamina, giving their brains and stamina a boost.
In order to run good at the tables, some players may resort to drugs and stimulants to remain active in their game, but with an energy drink close by; the tendency to do drugs is reduced. And what’s more, energy drinks are not as harmful when compared to other caffeine-jammed energy boosters.
Want to experience the ‘macho-man’ feeling? The thing about energy drinks is that it makes players feel all ‘macho’ at the tables. It is worthy to note that players who gulp down enormous amount of energy drinks play more aggressively. This is all thanks to the adrenaline boost brought about by the energy drinks. With that being said, energy drinks are not magic pills and players should put a limit on their consumptions. Apart from energy drinks, players should also consider eating the right food.
