Phil Ivey Strikes Again and Takes Home 9th WSOP Bracelet

The pro who led the final table with 144,300 chips, Phil Ivey is a player who needs no introduction. With over $17m in lifetime earnings, Ivey has just bagged his 9th WSOP bracelet tying himself as a fourth all-time equal with the great Johnny Moss.

Although Phil Ivey took the backseat in the early stages, he soon kicked it up a notch higher when he played Heads-Up against Brandon Wong and won the WSOP APAC $2,200 Mixed Event. A great run ended short of the gold as Phil Ivey took home bracelet number nine along with AU$51,840 in prize money.
